Shipping and Returns

Upon placing an order you will receive an automated copy of your order.  House of Thread strives to ship all orders within 48 hours. All orders are sent via Registered Post and parcels should be delivered to you within 5 to 7 business days, however please allow up to a few more days.  All orders above $1000 USD will be shipped by UPS. Flat rate for all orders for delivery in the continental US is $4.95, (15.95 Alaska). We also offer Free Shipping for orders over $75.

House of Thread strives for total satisfaction of our customers.  Our customers may return or exchange any item for any reason whatsoever.  The following conditions apply to all returns and exchanges:
  • All items returned to House of Thread must be in new and unused condition, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.  Please try the item on, however, do not wear it as a normal item of clothing for any period of time.  
  • You must indicate your intention to exchange / return within 7 business days of the date of delivery. This can be done by email or phone 916-521-2805. Customers must indicate their name, address, original invoice number, the item being returned, if it is an exchange or a refund, and if it is an exchange you require, the new item you would like.
  • The returned item must be received by House of Thread within 15 business days of the date of delivery via Post Registered or Express Post USPS.
  • Exchanges: In the case of items being exchanged, all new requests are subject to availability.  Upon receipt of the returned item,  we will send your exchanged item within 48 hours (subject to availability) with no additional shipping charge.  Once exchanged item is shipped, you will be emailed confirmation and shipping information.  
  • Refunds: Upon receipt of the returned item, the refund will be processed to the credit card with which you originally paid for the item. You will be emailed confirmation of this.
House of Thread is not responsible for any item(s) that is not returned in new, unused and unworn condition. We do not sell pre-worn garments and will not accept the return of any item which is considered used.
